We’re Going to Need Another Timmy

November 6, 2007

Lindy Ruff reported after practice this afternoon that Timmy has a strained oblique muscle, and will be out for a period of time. What makes this so interesting is that Lindy had to repeatedly insist that Timmy’s injury had nothing to do with his head. I would hope not, because ‘oblique’ and ‘head’ are two completely different parts of the body, having nothing to do with each other. And I know that Timmy has a history of head injuries, and he took a jolt last night, but I doubt the Sabres would try to hide a head injury, especially a head injury to Timmy.

My thanks to that old ABC show ‘Dinosaurs’ for providing the title for this entry.
